Introducing the Rural & Small Cities Program

We're excited to announce the launch of our new Rural & Small Cities Program! Our mission is to shift decades-long patterns of disinvestment by actively building the capacity of states, counties, cities, and towns to unlock vital public finance resources and consider how to strategically integrate philanthropic investments into their funding strategies.

Our Rural & Small Cities Program, which seeks to address those challenges by engaging local government leaders at all levels (including states, counties, and other quasi-governmental organizations that serve rural and small cities), as well as tribal nations and small and rural local governments with fewer than 100,000 residents. To learn more, read our Frequently Asked Questions, document and follow our youtube channel to see webinars and content as we work with leaders rural and small cities across America and share lessons.

Check out the members of our Rural and Small Cities Advisory council who helping us shape the proram with their expertise and thought leadership, and hear about the program from our Rural & Small Cities Director Katy Hansen.
